Club Cup Auction – The Buyers & Players

Many thanks to all who attended the Club Cup Auction last night.  It was a very enjoyable night with auctioneers Anne Carton & Des Moloney doing an excellent job and no players were left unsold.  In total, €1,370 was raised and €274 will go towards the Clubhouse Disability Access Fund.

Buying a 50% share in yourself

If you haven’t bought yourself already, you can still get involved by buying a 50% share in yourself for a minimum of €5 and a maximum of €10.  The price you pay is indicated on the Auction Lists above.  If you buy a half share in yourself, you will be entitled to half of the Auction Prize if you are the winner of one of the Prizes.

You can buy a half share in yourself by paying the correct amount when you are entering the competition.  James/Paul/Richie will have the details in the Pro Shop on Sunday.

A note to Buyers

Where a player buys back a 50% share in themselves, the buyer will be refunded 50% of the amount they paid for that player up to a maximum of €10.  This money will be left in an envelope, marked for your attention, behind the bar from Tuesday 13th August.

If you have any further queries or notice any errors in the Auction List, please contact one of the Auction organisers, Eamon Walsh, Derek Ronan or Rory Hussey, or email
