Uncollected Prizes

Occasionally, prizewinners leave their prizes for collection in the clubhouse.  Whist the club is happy to accommodate this on a short term basis, any prizes left for collection for over one month will now be returned to the stock of prizes.

Thu 21st: Open Seniors, with prize/s for non Seniors (effectively open to all) (18h S/ford)

Sat 22nd & Sun 23rd: JFK 50 Gathering Fourball (18h B/B) sponsored by Culcita Ltd.

The entry fee for the JFK 50 Gathering Fourball includes a BBQ meal after the round.  Phelim Byrne will be providing BBQ cookery demonstrations from midday on Sunday, which are open to all – why not bring the family along.

Culcita are providing a fabulous range of prizes for this event and there will be dedicated ladies and visitors prizes.  Please encourage friends, family and colleagues to support this event.

The timesheet is now live for the Lady Captain’s Prize (Ger Donohue) to the Men.  The competition takes place on Friday and Saturday 28/29 June.  The Lady Captain’s Mixed takes place on Thursday 27th June.  We hope that the Men’s section can show their gratitude for the great support that the Ladies section gives to the men’s events by participating in these events.


The closing date for entry to the Singles Matchplay was today, however the draw will not be completed until later in the week.  All entries received by Thursday at 6pm will be accepted.  The draw will be made and published by next weekend.  If you will not be in the club during the week, you can enter by emailing your name, handicap and contact number to  The deadline for completion of the first round proper of the Fourball Matchplay is June 18th.


The South Leinster Team will play Bunclody on Thursday June 27th.  The team has a favourable draw with 3 matches at home and 2 in Bunclody.

The Senior Cup team are making preparations for their match against Tullamore in Kikenny on Saturday June 29th.

Find the Joker

Last week’s winner of the Find the Joker draw was Tommy Liston, who won €30as the joker eluded him. The jackpot is now well over the €3,700 mark. There are only 9 cards left unturned. Entries cost €2 and are taken in the bar.
